How this discount calculator works

Enter the original price and the discount percentage. The calculator shows how much you save and the final price you pay. This works for sale items, coupons, promotional markdowns, and any percentage-off deal.

The discount formula

Savings = Original price × (Discount ÷ 100)

Final price = Original price − Savings

Stacking discounts

If you have multiple discounts (e.g., a 20% off coupon plus a 10% member discount), they are applied sequentially, not added together. A 20% + 10% discount is not 30% — you pay 80% × 90% = 72% of the original, which is 28% off total, not 30%.
